That is the controversial questions posed by respected firm UBS in their extensive consultancy report on the future of the restaurant industry.

Respected investment bank UBS just released an in depth report on the online food ordering industry with the controversial title "Is the Kitchen Dead?"

Among their key findings and projections:

The food delivery sales market could increase at a annual rate of 20% growing from $35bn today to $365bn by 2030

It is possible that by 2030 most meals currently cooked at home are instead ordered online and delivered from either restaurants or central kitchens
