Takeout and delivery customers, especially Millennials are increasing their use of mobile apps for ordering.

The growing trend of ordering with mobile apps is not just for delivery now, but even for takeout customers picking up their own food. According to recent study from BRP research group, more than half of Millennials use digital technology to augment their dining experience both before, during and after the meal. Their digital activities range from researching where and what to eat (60%) to checking ratings/reviews while in a restaurant (51%) to sharing pictures and content (23%) during and after the visit.
