The first was oriented towards cooking and more of a traditional chef's kitchen. The second was more tailored to those eating in, with large open spaces and an extended island and breakfast bar with less cooking space.
More than 70% of buyers selected the order-in themed configuration. Given rising rents and a trend towards smaller more efficient spaces, the kitchen of the future could be less expensive and much more compact.
